The 9-Panel Drug Screening Cup by Rapid Proof is a test that carries the AS4308:2008 accreditation cup for the detection of Amphetamines and Methamphetamines.

With its proven track record, the 9-Panel Drug Screening Cup gives you precise and accurate results in five minutes. Just collect urine straight into the cup. Remains good for use two years from date of manufacturing.
Remove lid from the Drug Screening cup, and collect urine specimen.
Fill the cup to at least 30mL (as indicated by the minimum fill level line), or to a maximum amount of half the cup.
Tightly close the lid after.
Place the filled Drug Screening cup on a flat surface, and peel off the attached yellow label.
Set a timer for 5 minutes.
In the meantime, the following steps can be undertaken.
There is a built-in black Temperature Strip at the back of the Drug Screening cup for measuring urine temperature.
If a green dot appears, temperature is optimal for testing. If the dot is orange or tan-coloured, the urine sample is immediately invalid.
After 3-5 minutes, reference the supplied colour chart for each index to be tested and check if they're within normal range.
Once this has been confirmed, continue waiting for the full five minutes to get your results.
Above every strip, ensure there is a "Control Line" (C-Line) present. This confirms that the test, sample and all prior steps were undertaken correctly.
Then, check for a "Test Line" (T-Line) below the C-Lines on every strip to determine the result of each narcotic.
If both lines are visible, the result is negative.
If only the top C-Line is visible, the result is positive.
NEGATIVE: Two lines appear. A line in the control region (C) and a line in the test region (T) indicate a negative result for one specific drug. This means that the drug concentration in the urine sample is below the indicated cut-off value for that drug in question. Strength of the test line (i.e. how light or dark the line appears) will vary according to the concentration of the drug - complete absence will result in a strong test line, whilst a concentration bordering the cut-off level will result in a faint line. Regardless, appearance of a faint line should still be interpreted as a negative screening.
POSITIVE: One line appears in the control region (C). No line appears in the test region (T) below. This indicates a positive result - drug concentration is above the detectable level.
INVALID: Control line fails to appear. Insufficient specimen volume or incorrect procedural techniques are the most likely reasons for control line failure. Review the procedure and repeat the test using a new test panel. If the problem persists, discontinue using the lot immediately and contact your local distributor.

The urine standard is named as AS/NZS 4308:2008 and the oral fluid AS 4760:2006. The standards covers issues such as proper collection, chain of custody, initial screening, confirmation analysis and reporting of samples.

A positive result indicates presence of a drug, but does not indicate the level of intoxication, or concentration from the urine sample.
The current standard defines what concentrations should be considered negative or non-negative (syntax is non-negative, as the sample can only be confirmed as positive after a final GCMS or LCMS confirmatory test). As it is important that the community agree to what should be regarded as negative versus non-negative, in terms of concentrations, levels are defined as follows:
Marijuana = 50 ng/ml, with a detection time of 5-30 days.
Amphetamine = 300 ng/ml with a detection time of 2-4 days.
Cocaine = 300 ng/ml with a detection time of 2-4 days.
Methamphetamine = 300 ng/ml with a detection time of 3-5 days.
Benzodiazepines = 200 ng/ml with a detection time of 3-7 days.
Morphine = 300 ng/ml with a detection time of 2-4 days.
MDMA (Ecstasy) = 500 ng/ml with a detection time of 2-4 days.

A negative result may not necessarily indicate drug-free urine. Negative results can be obtained when a drug is present, but is below the cut-off level of the test. Note that the test does not distinguish between drugs of abuse and certain medications. A positive test result may be obtained from certain foods or food supplements.
Like all drug testing devices, non-negative results must be confirmed in a lab by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS).
An immunoassay device, like the 9-Panel Cup, is based on the principle of developing Monoclonal Antibodies, that can detect target molecules like Methamphetamine.
Inside the Cup, each detectable drug is represented by a single strip that soaks up urine in a lateral flow. Once the urine āclimbsā the strip, it passes through an area where the monoclonal antibodies are attached to the strip. The antibodies mix with the urine and continue to flow upwards, towards a Test line (T-line) which is coated with something similar to Methamphetamine, so called antigen.
The antigen has a weaker affinity to the antibody, meaning the antibody prefers being attached to the ārealā Methamphetamine rather than weaker antigen. If the urine contains none or low concentrations of Methamphetamine, the antibodies will bond to the antigens on the T-line. The lesser the concentration, the more antibodies bond to the T-line. If the urine contains Methamphetamine, the antibodies will simply pass the T-line, as bonds with the real drug is stronger - meaning no line represents a positive.

Urine collected at any time of the day may be used to complete the drug test.
Urine specimens may be stored at 2-8Ā°C for up to 48 hours prior to testing. For prolonged storage, specimens may be frozen and stored below -20Ā°C. Frozen specimens should be thawed and mixed well before testing.
Store as packaged in the sealed pouch at 4-30Ā°C.
The 9-Panel Drug Screening Cup remains stable until the expiration date printed on the sealed pouch. The test cup must remain in the sealed pouch until use. Do not freeze. Do not use beyond the expiration date.
